ARTIST HIGHLIGHTS
Dis Fig

For Berlin-based producer and DJ Felicia Chen (aka Dis Fig), risk-taking and provocation is an integral part of the creative process.
As a DJ, Chen has nurtured a reputation for her curiosity and restless energy, but as a live performer she edges away from the club completely, using her acrobatic voice and entire body to transmit emotional complexity that’s deeper than language.
Felicia Chen has long resisted simple musical categories. She honed her skills operating in New York City’s scrappy DIY and experimental club scenes, channeling a passion for pop music, metal, rap, and global dance forms into unpredictable multi-layered DJ sets that harmonised with the New York’s noise. It will be exciting to see her vision of Kowloon through her club set at SLAP.
Dis Fig is far from run-of-the-mill, as a DJ or as a musician. Super hard to pin down to a genre, but guaranteed to get your dancing, we’re excited to welcome her to our club!
Just Bee

Just Bee is a key figure in Hong Kong’s electronic music scene and a member of Unchained Asia (DJ Mag China’s #1 label). With over 250 performances, her music spans diverse styles and has led her play at iconic venues across 18 cities.
Diagnosed with ADHD later in life, DJing became Abby‘s anchor. This experience sparked her mission to promote neurodiversity in Hong Kong, mentoring neurodivergent DJ students and sharing her story.
Nebulae

Nebulae
We invite OIL soundsystem’s Nebulae who continues to challenge her own boundaries of self-expression as a resident at the Shenzhen club.
She has a gentle but rebellious persona which allowed her to find a home in the world of southern China’s growing electronic music scene.
Her selections are uplifting which encompass the likes of techno, breaks and dub.
Shelf-Index

Shelf-Index
Shelf-Index starting out with noise and rhythms, sequences and samples has become a key DJ in the HK electronic music scene.
After winning the bronze (open category, 2001) and distinguished award (youth category, 1997) of the Hong Kong Independent Film and Video Awards, Dom aka Shelf-Index graduated from California Institute of the Arts in 2001. Since then he’s been working in different positions within the media industry and occasionally makes videos for Re-Records/Lona Records related artists, plus music videos and live visual design (notably Anthony Wong 黃耀明/Tat Ming Pair 達明一派 / Rubberband/ Choi Sai-Ho to name a few) and creates sonic manipulation material under the alias Shelf-Index. Besides participating in different experimental events, he is also a member of the DJ crew “Are Friends Electric?” and founded “SYNC SING SIN” alongside Alok, Jamline and AWI.
Apart from throwing parties in clubs and art galleries, plus supporting the likes of Filastine, Bok Bok, Dexplicit, Deville, Nguzunguzu, and JCC, with his deep love of cultural clashes and the exploration of possibilities, Shelf-Index also participates in the Bi-Annual vintage Canto-Pop party series ( presented by Trentchtown Music ), and picked up the duties to curate 2014’s FreeSpace Festival (alongside Mike Orange @ Chochukmo and William Lane @ HKNME), bringing in artists ie DJ/ Rupture and Howie Lee for local collaborative performances. In 2013, picked up the position of Creative Consultant at Renaissance Foundation . From 2015-2017 he worked on the audio/visual project “Gravity Alterstra” with Alok and vocalist Janni, actively performing in Festivals and live events, and also runs a regular column in Boom Magazine, promoting the party culture. In 2018 Shelf-Index was once again back on the field as a DJ/ solo artist, and has been sharing the same stage with artists such as Zuir, Abyss X and Minor Science.
In 2023, he played alongside Glitch Mob and in 2024 alongside Ivy Lab, both of which in Hong Kong.
KOLAK

KOLAK started his DJing journey in 2015, immersing himself in the Hong Kong and has since immersed himself in Hong Kong underground electronic music scene. He is a specialist in UK Bass and Footwork/Juke music, but he never stops absorbing musical elements from other genres to create his own distinct emotional space through speakers. KOLAK has been a regular selector at the Footwork/Juke music event “Ruffneck Bizness” in the area. KOLAK also hosts, The CIRCLE, which is a music event series focused on footwork/juke.
Alongside Shelf-Inde and VSLORIA, he’s excited to bring a dark, immersive set to Op’dan.
VSLORIA

Hong Kong multimedia artist and DJ, Victoria aka VSLORIA blends tribal, dubstep, techno, breaks, jungle and DnB via a unique inner-city perspective crafted from her involvement in Hong Kong’s underground rave scene.
